  5.  Announcing another beta release of Visual Tcl, a freely-available, high-
  6.  quality application development environment for UNIX, Windows and Macintosh
  7.  platforms. Visual Tcl is written entirely in Tcl/Tk and covered by the GNU
  8.  General Public License.

  10. Changes since 1.10b:

  12. 1.10 -> 1.11 (February 1, 1998)
  13.     o Changed child windows back to "transient" since tk80 bug
  14.       fixed in latest release. Removed "intelligent" deiconification.
  15.     o Root menu now uses Tk8 System menus when available
  16.     o Many fixes for Macintosh (including startup instructions)
  17.     o Removed variable inspector
  18.     o Fixed dialog race condition
  19.     o vtcl Now accepts spaces (and meta chars) in procedure names
  20.     o Replaced lib_blt.tcl and lib_itcl.tcl files
  21.     o vtcl Now saves children of Canvases
  22.     o Fixed saving of root (tk8) menus
  23.     o Thanks to Fabien Coutant, Kenn Persinger and Jim Kramer
